Building an economic security system for a small company in modern conditions is complicated by the lack of an adequate level of management competencies to build effective protection. An urgent direction for improving the level of economic security in all its functional components is the identification of risks and threats, the classification of which is given in the article, which contributes to their ranking in order to properly and consistently counteract and increase the effectiveness of the business protection system in key aspects. The article proposes a model of the economic security system of a small company, taking into account the specifics of its purpose.
