The article highlights the impact of the role of a manager on strategic personnel management in IT companies of various sizes. Examining both small startups and large organizations, the authors analyze how leadership adapts depending on the scale of the company's activities and its specifics. The paper examines critical aspects of effective leadership, including motivation, talent development, strategic planning, and operational management. It is noted that the success of IT companies largely depends on the competencies and leadership qualities of managers, their ability to adapt to changes and motivate the team to achieve strategic goals.
