Features of growth and development of spring rapeseed depending on usage of the preparation Pictor in the northern steppe Forest zone of Ukraine

Influence the preparation Pictor and size of seeds (small, average and large seed fractions) used for sowing on spring rapeseed varieties productivity was studied in conditions of the northern part of Ukrainian Forest-steppe in 2013-2014. Analysis of experimental data showed that duration of this crop vegetative period depended mostly on the weather conditions than on seed fractions. The vegetative period of the variety Magnat lasted from 109 to 111 days, the variety sample MVM - from 110 to 114 days. Application of the preparation Pictor promoted the decreasing of vegetative period of the studied variety on 1-3 days in average, and the sample - on 2-4 days depending on the seed fractions. Plant height depended from the growth conditions and plant development. Leaves amount per a plant rose when using seeds from small to large fractions. Pictor application in crops of the variety Magnat and the variety sample MVM effected the increase of leaves amount per a plant at the budding phase from 7 to 8 leaves per a plant and at flowering phase - from 11 to 13 leaves per a plant. During plant vegetation, non-uniform development of the branches in first and second levels was observed in crops of spring rapeseed. Maximal quantity of branches in first and sec-ond levels of the variety Magnat was noted when using small seeds for sowing. Maximal quantity of branches in first level of the variety sample MVM was noted when using small seeds for sowing. Quantity of branches in second level increased from small fraction (seven branches per a plant) to large one (eight branches per a plant). In crops treated by the preparation Pictor, insignificant variation of this trait was observed.
