The article presents the results of theoretical and empirical research of the features of self-attitude and psychological strategies of electronic communication among students. According to the results of a psychodiagnostic survey, the data of comparative and correlation analysis of respondents' self-attitude, strategies of network activity, attitudes to Internet use, and variability of self-presentation of students are considered. It is shown that students choose different strategies for network activity, and each of them is briefly described. It is suggested that the research materials can be used for the organization of psychological and pedagogical support of the educational process, psychological education and prevention of problematic use of network resources, for individual and group counseling within the psychological service of the University.
