Peculiarities of self-presentation of first year students with different forms of education

The article presents the results of a research aimed at studying the features of the choice of strategies for self-presentation by correspondence study and accelerated course of study students. It was revealed that the preferred strategy of the survey participants is the “desire to please” strategy, which indicates the ability of the subjects to consciously regulate their own behavior in order to create a favorable impression of themselves among people. Significant differences were found in the preference for self-presentation strategies among students studying in different forms. It is noted that the choice of strategies and tactics of self-presentation is based on age, gender, individual characteristics.
