Features of self-realization adolescents engaged in non-Olympic sports

The article is devoted to the research component of the self-realization of a teenager during the occupation of non-Olympic sports. The urgency of this problem is that teenagers, when selecting classes outside of school, don’t always choose the sport, and informal groups that promote antisocial behavior and adolescent in future fulfil its potential both in sports and in life. In our work, a survey was conducted among two different groups of adolescents: athletes and sports-minded. According to the survey, we identified a difference in two different groups. It is the severity of the aspiration to self-realization in athletes, the other group it was not as strongly expressed. Currently, it is necessary to arouse the interest of teenagers to the sport, which contributes to the harmonious development of the personality and pursuit of self-improvement, and further the harmonious development of the adolescent as self-motivated and self-developing personality, developing both in sports and outside sports activities. In our study reveals some issues of self-esteem of a teenager during the occupation of non-Olympic sport, the athlete’s motivation to engage in water sports.
