Semantic and imagery of idioms describing communicative process in Russian and German languages

After comparing between Russian and German idioms and verbs which describe the communicative process we found out that meaning structure of idioms is more complex than the structure of the synonymic verbs, it contains a description of situations and their estimations. Cognitive sources of idioms which describe processes of speaking and of keeping silence are based on different working processes. These are specific to Russian and German native speakers.
