Features of singular and universal succession in various areas of legal regulation

The purpose of the study is a comprehensive analysis of universal and singular succession in various areas of legal regulation. The main research methods are: structural-systemic, logical analysis and synthesis, formal legal, comparative legal, as well as collecting information by studying monographs, textbooks, materials of judicial practice on the issue under study. The article considers the features of understanding universal and singular succession, and also highlights its distinctive features in various branches of Russian law. Making conclusions, it is necessary to note that the category of succession in each branch of law has its own specifics, but at the same time, it retains its main feature - the preservation of the legal relationship when changing its subject composition, which ensures the transfer of rights and obligations from the legal predecessor to the legal successor.
