Peculiarities of interethnic relations among children and adolescents: spaces and practices

This article analyzes the social spaces and everyday practices that form the peculiarity of interethnic relations in children's and teen's groups. The theoretical part examines the approaches that related to the opportunities of integration of interethnic relations as social construct in the current academic debate. The author considers the discursive meaning of the application of this concept. The empirical part of the article presents the results of the collective project. The focus of data analysis is made on the identification of spaces and practices around which both positive and negative forms of relationship among children and adolescents are formed. The author pays attention to the role of the ethnic dimension in children and teenage relationships.
