Peculiarities of social adaptation and socialization of creatively gifted schoolchildren

Social adaptation promotes the adoption of dictated and unspoken rules of social interaction by the child, the formation of personal qualities, the development of communication skills. The main task of school is to remain conscious of the necessary conditions for the successful adaptation of students since social adaptation is the first step of this socialization. Socialization favors the adaptation of the individual both outside the educational institution and in his future life. It depends largely on social conditions and its focus is on creatively gifted children, as the society is interested in the formation of new brilliant elite. The educational standards of Russian Federation of the third generation are directed towards the formation of the elite, as well as the development of pupils’ creative abilities. They also recommend using specific pedagogical methods in the educational process, for example, pedagogical support. This article studies the social adaptation of creatively gifted schoolchildren and their subsequent socialization. The paper examines the theoretical and methodological foundations of social adaptation and socialization, to identify the main problems of social adaptation and to solve them consistently with the help of pedagogical support technology.
