The article is devoted to the creation and use of official works in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the context of amendments in the Russian civil legislation. Currently, official works are widely spread in the system of the Russian Interior Ministry, and the special attention is paid to the copyrights. It is mainly connected with the major changes in the legislative sphere.
