This article discusses the features of life insurance abroad. The statistics of life insurance companies in some countries are given. Various concepts of life insurance are considered. The rating assessment of insurance companies of Ukraine for this type of insurance for 2003-2020 is given and a thorough analysis of available statistical data is carried out.
