To date, the conduct of international activities by small and medium-sized businesses is due to significant risks. And this article describes the features of applying a strategic approach to the management of small and medium - sized enterprises that enter foreign markets. The stages of the formation of an international strategy are considered in detail: the formulation of a mission, the assessment of business conditions, the development of goals and objectives, as well as private strategies used by companies to enter the international market.
