This article is a continuation of the publication ‘Investigation of the structure of self-consciousness in students of humanitarian and technical specialities’. It presents results that were not included in the first publication due to volume constraints. The article is devoted to the study of the structure of self-consciousness of students. To solve this problem, an original technique has been developed and tested. The data obtained with its help are analyzed in the context of the most common and generally accepted psychological concepts of self-consciousness and identity. The article describes the basic algorithms of analysis and interpretation of the initial data. The connections of the basic elements of self-concept of the examined students with a number of elements of their own structure of self-consciousness, their personal identity are considered. On the basis of the analysis, practical recommendations on the formation of socio-political content addressed to this contingent of students are formulated. The effectiveness of information impact is associated with the peculiarities of self-consciousness of the surveyed students of humanitarian and technical specializations.
