The article discusses the structure features of Russian-speaking monolinguals and bilinguals’ texts as the most important indicator of their individual ethnicity. Text blocks (of linear and non-linear organization) are identified as structural features. The Tatar-Bilingual texts are event-linear narrative, which is organized around their family members. The Komi-Permyak texts are also linear, but 50% of the narratives are organized around a place. The structure of the Russians’ texts varies depending on the level of education of the informant. The frequency analysis of all the inflected forms of the Tatars, Komi-Permyaks and Russians’ texts supports the conclusion that there is an ethnic peculiarity of text production: the three ethnic groups have their own «preferred» text model. This allows us to draw conclusions about the reflection of ethnic consciousness in spontaneous text.
