The article examines the development of the judicial system of England within the Anglo-Saxon period. The problems of that era related to the issues of the kingdom’s judicial system are considered. The author studies judicial authorities of that time, as well as their distinctive features. The article examines some problems and prospects for the courts’ further development. The author makes the conclusion about whether the features of the judicial system within the Anglo-Saxon period influenced the establishment of the foundations of the future England judicial system.
