The features of the technical diagnostics of diesel fuel equipment

In the current economic circumstances, the problem of agricultural enterprises solves the problem of producing high quality products and reducing its cost. The fuel expenses the reduction of which will reduce production costs take the largest share (25... 30%) in the structure of production costs. The specific character of a variety of agricultural operations, tractor units (TU) is characterized by the fact that 90% of the total time of the power unit of the TU, as a rule, diesel, are working on unsteady modes. Load fluctuations caused by the constant variation of traction and the overall resistance of TU, lead to a change in parameters of the engine work, including the process of fuel supply, which are determined by the size of the cyclic supply of high pressure fuel pumps (pump). Taking the geopolitical situation and the possible increase in economic sanctions against our country into consideration, we can safely say that in the near foreseeable future, the classic version of the fuel equipment will remain the main split type to be installed on diesel engines of domestic production. Therefore, increasing the stability of this type of fuel equipment of high pressure (common rail) to improve the performance of a diesel engine in operation is an actual task. The efficiency of a diesel engine is largely influenced by the technical condition of the fuel equipment of high pressure and disruptions to its separate elements result in lower power and economic indicators of diesel. It is necessary to estimate the technical condition quickly to ensure maintenance in proper operation. Resolution problems providing sound, focused and systematic diagnosis of the common rail during the operation to assess the nature and extent of the influence of the technical state of the elements in the common rail diesel engine performance. Solution of complex and multifaceted problem of quality control of fuel equipment of high pressure during operation depends on the efficiency of the engine diagnostic system as a whole.
