Peculiarities of CLIL approach as content-language integrated learning

The article is dedicated to the disclosure of the concept of content-language integrated learning (CLIL) and its relevance in modern society. Teaching subjects in a foreign language has its own peculiarities. The main components of CLIL technology, known as ‘4Cs’ components, types of CLIL, their differences and ways of application are considered. Also, not only the advantages of applying subject-language integrated learning, but also its disadvantages are identified in the article.
