Features of temporality in V. Nabokov’s story “Beauty”

The article is devoted to the organization of the narrative body of a narrative text. The author focuses on grammatical ways of conveying dynamics of the text time, specialization of perfective and imperfective verbs at organization of the tense axis, as well as the author’s manipulation of the time reference system. The research is conducted on the material of the modern Russian language.
