In cardiology hospital 288 patients older than 65 years with chronic coronary artery disease underwent screening self-assessment scales for depression, anxiety and social adaptation. With a positive screening and informed consent of the patient the diagnosis was verified by a psychiatrist. 50,7% of the patients had anxiety-depressive disorder, 62% of them were found affective disorders, elevated levels of anxiety and depression on the scale of selfesteem. 10 Each patient had suicidal thoughts: the scheduling of simultaneous failure of antianginal drugs in the amplification loads or consent for surgery. In practice should implement self-screening scales to detect anxiety and depressive disorders and suicidal behavior include psychiatrists in an interdisciplinary team to develop comprehensive rehabilitation programs in geriatric patients with comorbid disorders.
