The article presents the results of an empirical study of educational motivation of younger students with different types of attachment. The hypothesis of the study was the assumption that there is a connection between the level of educational motivation of the younger student and the type of parental affection. Attachment in the article is considered as an emotional connection that arises between the mother and the child (as the closest person) as a result of a long-term relationship and is characterized by stable, emotionally filled relationships that are based on the satisfaction of needs for sympathy, understanding, recognition.
