The article presents an overview of the competitiveness management features of a trade organization. The list of the elements forming competitiveness in trade is presented. The necessity of development of the marketing strategy of a trade organization in interaction with one of the components of competitiveness management is substantiated, while other elements of the marketing-mix have an auxiliary significance.
