The service sector is considered to be one of the main indicators of the level of economic development of any country. It is in this sector of the economy that the largest share of small businesses operates, the management features of which are often not taken into account by their leaders. This leads to ineffective activities of small businesses and poor quality of services provided. The analysis of scientific publications on this topic made it possible to summarize the key features of managing small business enterprises in the service sector, among which the authors highlight: the development of professional and managerial skills of the owner of the company, the development of quality control of the services provided and the personnel management system that directly interacts with the company's clients. The development of these links in the management structure will improve the efficiency of small business enterprises in the service sector and will have a positive impact on the development of the economy of the entire country.
