Features of labor productivity management in the transport industry

Trends in the development of the world economy show that the growth of labor productivity acts as the main source of economic growth, the well-being of the population and the development of scientific and technological progress. With an increase in the level of labor productivity at the enterprise, additional value is created, which can later be distributed among consumers. This makes it possible to produce products of better quality or at a lower cost, which also leads to an increase in the wages of employees. As a result, the issues of labor productivity management, methods and features of management at enterprises, in particular railway transport, are of particular importance. The article discusses the features of the labor productivity management system at the enterprises of the transport industry, in particular, in railway transport. The question of the influence of external and internal factors on the activities of the enterprise, namely in the aspect of labor productivity management, is considered. The issues of labor productivity management at transport enterprises are of particular importance, since the role of transport in the economic system of the state is very large, it is a link for the production and non-production sectors of the economy, for various industries and the population itself. Also, Russian Railways takes part in the national project “Improving labor productivity and supporting employment”.
