This article discusses the procedure for conducting personnel policy and personnel records management in local governments. The issues of personnel policy in the system of government and management are covered in detail. The relevance of this topic is due to the anti-corruption struggle carried out recently by the authorities at all levels, including among state and municipal employees. The success of this struggle depends on many factors, including the activities of human resources services in local governments. This work cannot be effectively implemented without increasing the role of human resources services, without improving human resources work in the entire system of local government. The article presents a brief analysis of office management, personnel policy with the definition of the procedure and regulation of the process of selection, relocation, promotion, stimulation and responsibility of municipal employees, and provides recommendations for improving the documentation support of personnel management.
