Peculiar features of influence of admixture of iron hydroxide sol on the structure and properties of magnesia stone

The results of studying the influence of iron hydroxide sol on hardening of Mg mixture and the formation of structure and properties of the stone are given. It is established that the iron hydroxide sol is an efficient additive that enhances the strength of stone at early period and get a stone with the strength of magnesia of 80 MPa or more, with water resistance not less than 0.8, and hygroscopicity of no more than 2 %.
