Features of the perception of the life path of modern boys and girls

The article deals with the social and psychological characteristics of the perception of the life path of modern youth. Life path was understood as a set of related events that are significant for a person. In the framework of this understanding of the life path, the author have studied such characteristics as event significance, emotional assessment of events, the dominant sphere of life events, the psychological sense of time and a sense of satisfaction with life in general and with individual indicators. The study revealed some features of the life path of young people. Its components are unevenly represented in the way of life: the past dominates, and the present and future are fragmented. The events in time zones are represented unevenly, the way of life has an incomplete, fragmented character. There is no long-term planning for the future. The emotional assessment of events is generally positive. An average level of connection between the personal and social significance of events is observed. The subjects adequately assess the significance of the events and their contribution to their implementation. The most significant area of life for young people is the sphere of "inner peace". The study gave a lot of data to analyze the characteristics of the life path in young people. For a better understanding of the specific features of the life path, it is recommended to conduct research with other age groups.
