Features of occurrence and methods of risk management at enterprises of the military-industrial complex

The article discusses the features of risk management as one of the components of the quality management system at the enterprises of the military-industrial complex. A brief overview of the specifics of the economic activities of enterprises of the military-industrial complex is presented, the general entities used in the theory of risk management are analyzed. Using various applied research methods, the authors analyze the main processes and methods of risk management, the possibility of their practical application at enterprises of the military-industrial complex, describe specific risks that have appeared in the modern economic and political environment. The strategic task of the enterprises of the military-industrial complex is to create conditions for raising the military and scientific potential of the country in order to ensure state security. The need for corporate and scientific cooperation implies the organization of strict accounting and daily reporting, risk analysis and regular coordination of production at enterprises. The high level of risk in the production and scientific spheres of the enterprises of the military-industrial complex must be managed at all levels of production. In the current economic and political situation, in the conditions of sanctions pressure and the destruction of previously built logistics chains, the introduction of risk-based management at the enterprises of the military-industrial complex on an ongoing basis is justified and natural. Risk-oriented management should be one of the foundations of enterprise development planning, its development, documentation and control will be the key to the success of the work and competitiveness of enterprises.
