Features of building interstate relations between the IRI and the IRA in 2001-2020

The article discusses the key features of building interstate relations between Iran and Afghanistan in the context of modern geopolitical turbulence. The author described the features of the three stages of the development of relations from 2001 to 2020, which were all this time in a complicated and unstable situation. The withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan and the rise to power of the Taliban became a fundamental reason for the cooling of relations between the countries, which further influenced all spheres of cooperation.
