Specifics of the interaction of customs authorities with foreign trade participants

Currently the customs policy aims at improving the quality of customs services. This is explained by the fact that the requirements are being raised for the quality of work of the customs authorities, efficiency, adaptability and adequacy of customs operations and procedures. The need to speed up the process of providing customs services, and to make high-quality and timely decisions on the interaction of foreign trade participants and customs officials is constantly increasing. Therefore, the issue of assessing the interaction of customs authorities and foreign trade participants becomes significant in modern conditions. For this assessment, the author has developed a technique of interviewing foreign trade participants on their satisfaction with the quality of customs services. The survey has involved 50 foreign trade enterprises of various forms of incorporation in the Chelyabinsk Region. The article analyzes the results of performed study, what has allowed to reveal the advantages and disadvantages of the work of the customs authorities, as well as to identify priority fields for improving this interaction.
