The article reveals the essence of the relationship between the head and subordinates as one of the main factors in the functioning of a modern organization. Special emphasis is placed on the importance of this kind of communication, which can positively affect labor productivity, staff loyalty and, in general, the effectiveness of the company's activities. Important are the conclusions regarding the transformation of the relationship between the head and subordinates, which are taking place today under the influence of digitalization of personnel management systems. Acceptance and understanding of the importance of the digitalization of personnel management systems taking place today on the part of both managers and employees will allow for the formation of highly effective communications.
