The article discusses the relationship of the absolute number of deaths from skin melanoma in total; in 1 year after diagnosis and the number of patients with stage 3-4. For this, the methods of statistical processing involving the use of time series, correlation analysis, Pearson's square are used. Revealed a weak positive pattern of these indicators. To identify the reasons for this, the average annual share of 3-4 stages was calculated, which amounted to 20 %, which made it possible to conclude that a small fraction of 3-4 stages in the study group. The regularity of the absence of negative growth dynamics of the stage 3-4 stage during the study period, as well as a significant decline in the last 5 years, which may be due to adequate organizational decisions and the effective work of the primary link, was noted. The interrelation of mortality from skin melanoma in various groups, separated by gender and age, was revealed. A wavy change in the absolute number of deaths from skin melanoma, died at 1 year, of a stage 3-4 stage was noted. The patterns describing these changes, as well as their reliability, are revealed.
