The article deals with purchases of high-tech products by commercial companies. The normative legal acts in this area are analyzed. Strategies and methods of supplier selection are defined. The purchasing activity of pharmaceutical companies and organizations engaged in the production of cosmetic products is investigated. The risks of procurement activities are studied and their consequences are highlighted. The factors that can influence the effectiveness of the purchase of high-tech products in the corporate sector are identified.
