The legal aspect of creation and functioning of SEZ is considered. The main types of SEZ are defined, the mechanism of their creation is characterized. The thesis is substantiated that by now the main Federal act, which determines the essential mechanisms of SEZ functioning, is a basic, integrated, integral normative act.
