The article is aimed at a theoretical excursion into the problem of a conscious attitude to learning among high school students, an analysis of available domestic and foreign research data on the problem under study, as well as a discussion of the results of the work carried out in the form of conclusions. This topic is relevant and important in the context of modern educational global trends. In the context of rapid development of technology, changing social values and challenges facing modern education, it is important to understand the factors that influence students' attitude to the educational process and their awareness. The article provides the definitions of awareness and a conscious attitude to learning. The authors consider the prerequisites for the development of awareness within the framework of educational activities. The paper analyzes the existing levels of educational awareness and their impact on the educational process as a whole. The article studies the available research material on the problem, conclusions and concepts, the purpose of which is to study a conscious attitude to learning as a condition for professional selfdetermination. The authors provide the conceptual overview of modern problems of a conscious attitude to learning in the context of the immediate educational process. At the end of the article, the authors draw a conclusion based on the theoretical data studied and on the basis of which a plan for further empirical research will be built.
