Exemption from criminal liability of persons, providing confidential assistance to operational units of the internal affairs bodies

The issues of exemption from criminal liability of persons providing confidential assistance to operational units of internal affairs bodies are considered in the article. The problems of application of operational-search legislation in this area are analyzed. Based on the study of foreign experience, proposals for improvement of the considered area of legal relations are formulated by the author.
