From «coming ham» to «Jesus unknown»: D. S. Merezhkovsky's way to divine society

The article investigates the evolution of the world outlook of the Russian religious philosopher D.S. Merezhkovsky. The analysis of the thinker's creative heritage is conducted: religious and philosophical ideas expressed in fiction and publicistic works are studied, the unity of the message is shown by means of the idea of ideal divine society establishment. The importance of D.S. Merezhkovsky's creative contribution to the cultural heritage of the Russian philosophy and culture is substantiated.
