From linguistic competences to linguistic individual

Бесплатный доступ

The paper explores such essential categories of linguistics and linguodidactics, among others - to the categories of foreign and native language, primary and secondary linguistic individual as they were postulated in Tver School of Hermeneutics and Linguodidactics. It turns out that when the research focus shifts from language structure onto the speaker and their actions the concept of linguistic individuality comes onto being. This concept treats language as a tool for individually and socially effected cognition. The paper analyses the basis and validity of the concept of linguistic individual in the early research papers by G.I. Bogin.
