The article considers the notion of aesthetic world outlook. The author develops ideas of S. Kierkegaard who considered aestheticism to be a lower stage of human spirit development comparing to ethic and religious world vision, and applies to the ideas of Russian philosophers - G.P. Fedorov and S.L. Frank who did not admit absolutization of aesthetics. The author analyses the reasons of intensifying aesthetisation of various aspects of modern life, including economics and politics. The author draws a conclusion that the changing power of art advances beyond the sphere of aesthetics and is to be aimed at the development of reality.
