One of the aspects of modernization of the content of the general ecological education is connected with the strengthening of its culturological aspect. The article observes the principles of selection of the content of the elective courses of study «The Basis of Ecological Culture» and «Ecological culturology». The structure of theirs modules and peculiarities of theirs realization in the pedagogical practice is revealed.
