Aim: to optimize treatment policy and to clarify the prognosis in patients with regional IIB-IIIB stage cervical cancer based on the study of remote results of multicomponent treatment considering morphological variant of the tumor. The materials of the study were results of observations on 152 patients with diagnosed IIB-IIIB stage cervical cancer who received multicomponent treatment. We evaluated the effectiveness of different treatment options for cervical cancer depending on the histological structure of the tumor. Metastatic lymph nodes was diagnosed in 21 (21.2 %) patients with PlRShM and in 11 (20.8 %) with adenogenic cancers - 5 (29.4 %) with ZhPlRShM and 6 (16.7 %) with AKSHM. Overall and disease-free survival of patients in the group with PlRShM was significantly higher than in adenogenic cervical cancer forms. Adenogenic cervical cancer forms should be regarded as the most aggressive tumors with poor prognosis compared to PlRShM.
