On the basis of analysis of investigative and judicial practice some peculiarities of working out algorithm for investigation of organization (maintainance) of dens for consumption of drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues are considered in the article. The author examines the concepts and several substantive elements of the considered crime, denotes a general algorithm of recording illegal activity and investigative methods, means of the administrative law and criminal procedure and describes some of them. A list of sample questions for interrogation of the people involved in a criminal case is offered.
