Selected aspects of functioning izb-chitalen in Sochinsky district

Based on archival sources and publications from open sources, the issues of functioning of reading huts in the Sochi region are considered. Certain aspects of unsuccessful cultural and enlightenment work are highlighted. The management is developing a plan to solve the assigned tasks as part of eliminating illiteracy in the area. The successful work of government bodies led to an increase in the popularity of reading rooms, which contributed to the organization of cultural leisure, education and, as a result, an increase in the number of literate people.
