Certain issues of collecting alimony for the maintenance of spouses and ex-spouses

Mutual assistance of family members is one of the principles of family law. In the absence of voluntary care, the content can be recovered in court. This article discusses certain issues of collecting alimony from spouses and former spouses. The author investigated the grounds and features of the alimony obligations of spouses (former spouses) at the present stage. A number of gaps in the legal regulation of the material support of a spouse (ex-spouse) in caring for a common child under three years of age have been identified. Proposals have been made to improve family legislation in this area of legal relations.
