The article presents the results of an interdisciplinary study of scientific literature, official statistical data, and empirical material in the form of procedural action protocols, sentences, and other documents aimed at identifying forensically significant behavioral features of juvenile offenders, according to the distinguishing characteristics of those experiencing a state of frustration. A prolonged, uncomfortable stay in a state of “disruption of plans” is considered to have a significant disorganizing effect on the physical and mental state of minors, their thinking and the nature of their actions, including illegal ones. The signs of frustration in cases of crime committed by a minor are analyzed. The need to consider it as a factor in evidence is substantiated. The authors examine how this mental state has a significant impact on the formation of forensic characteristics of juvenile crimes in general and its main element in the form of the personality of the offender in particular.
