Distinctive principles and signs of concession agreements

Concession agreement is one of the forms of public-private partnership (hereinafter - PPP). The current legislation of Russia defines PPP in general terms as legal for a certain period of time and based on pooling resources, sharing risks, the cooperation of a public partner and a private partner on the basis of an agreement in order to attract private investment into the economy, to ensure the availability of goods by state authorities and local governments, work, services and improve their quality.
