Correlation of color and background in semiotics of visual and aesthetic projections of a photographic self-portrait

The article discusses the problem of the ratio of background and color in photographic self-portraits, called selfies. Semiotics of color is considered taking into account various color-coding systems, but the main emphasis is on the graphic design system as a global visual language. The study presents the results of a cultural analysis of 300 selfie pictures from Russia and other countries of the world, taking into account the aesthetic aspect, the need for which in this cultural analysis of photographs is emphasized.
