Schoolchildren and students'' Attitude towards physical education and sporting activity in the XXI century

Our research is aimed at studying the attitude of children and youth towards physical education classes and sporting activity in general. The research was conducted among schoolchildren and students of Moscow and Moscow Region in 2013-2014. We evaluated the attitude of schoolchildren and students towards physical education and sporting activity (also assessing whether respondents were satisfied with organization of the classes), revealed factors that significantly influenced this attitude, and developed ways (forms, means, methods) to improve this attitude towards PE classes and increase degree of satisfaction. Analysis of survey results showed that almost all schoolchildren and students dislike certain aspects of PE classes or their organization that forms partially or totally negative attitude towards these classes.
