Отношение к смерти в контексте временной перспективы: адаптивные, защитные и неадаптивные взгляды на смерть у молодых взрослых

Смерть означает конец индивидуального времени, поэтому временная перспектива личности и, шире, переживание длительности «я» оказывают влияние на отношение к смерти. Цель исследования: определить адаптивные, дезадаптивные и защитные отношения к смерти, исходя из индивидуальных временных ориентаций, жизнестойкости и сбалансированности временной перспективы. Материал: выборка 967 человек (457 юношей, 503 девушек, у 7 человек пол не указан, возраст 17-37, М=20, SD=1.97). Методики: «Опросник временной перспективы Ф. Зимбардо», «Тест жизнестойкости», краткий вариант опросников «Отношение к смерти» и «Страх личной смерти». Результаты: Индекс ОБВП (отклонения от сбалансированной временной перспективы) и общий балл «Жизнестойкости» вносили значимый вклад во все показатели отношений к смерти и определяли от 1,2% дисперсии (для показателя «Страх последствий для личности») до 15,8% (для показателя «Принятие смерти как бегства»). Более подробный регрессионный анализ с учётом отдельных временных ориентаций и показателей жизнестойкости позволил точнее определить вклад этих переменных в исследуемые конструкты: от 3,6% дисперсии (для показателя «Нейтральное принятие смерти») до 18,6% (для показателя «Принятие смерти как бегства»)...

Death attitudes in context of time perspective: adaptive, defensive and maladaptive views of death in young adults

Introduction: Death is the end of individual time, that’s why personal time perspective and, more broadly, selfcontinuity influences individual attitudes towards death. Objective: This article aims to distinguish adaptive, maladaptive and defensive attitudes toward death from the characteristics of individual time orientations, balanced time perspective and hardiness. Materials: the sample comprises 967 students from various cities of Russia (457 males, 503 females, 7 undefined, age 17-37, M=20, SD=1.97). Methods: Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventory, Hardiness Survey, short versions of Death Attitudes Profile Revised and Fear of Personal Death Scale. Results: the DBTP index (deviation from balanced time perspective) and general index of Hardiness contribute significantly into all parameters of death attitudes and fears, and determined from 1.2% of dispersion (for the “fear of consequences for personality”) to 15.8% (for the “escape acceptance of death”).
