The article deals with the theoretical and applied issues of the development of the personality of senior preschool age in the conditions of the modern preschool education. There is attempted to solve the contradiction between the variety of the theoretical approaches to the issue of children’s development in preschool age and the necessity of the empirical study of the determinants of his personality’ development. There is considered the child’s attitude towards adults as determinants.
